Contest 3: Coloring - Date of Finish: 30.07.03
Well, this is a small contest I decided to add at the last moment, because I found an image I hade of Sailor Starseed in mid-transformation, and thought it would be cool to see how you would color it. So basically, you take this image, and color it, on computer, you can print it out anc color it by hand, whatever you want. All you have to have in mind is that she's in mid-transformation, so she shouldn't be 'naked' but like how the senshi look in mid-tranformation. Here's the one I did:
All images must be in jpg or gif format, and the size is maximum 600 x 600 pixels. Any entries that excede these limits, or are not jpg or gif will be erased without even seeing them. I will send you a confirmation email once I recieve your entry.
Send all entries to contest@mystarseed.com, and in the subject, write 'Contest 3: Your Name'. Be sure to include your name, and email.
Prize: Only one image, it can be a group image if you wish, of your character of choice, made by me. You will also get an award to stick on your site. I'll be looking simply for the best colored version of the picture.

Results
This contest has finished, and it it stime to hear my results! This was a prety hard choice, lots of friends from the forum participated, and I encouraged everyone to send their versions, no matter what they thought of them. Finally, I have a total of 13 pieces, and somehow I think one prize isn't enough. So I'm giving out one prize for the piece I most liked, as the said first prize, and two honorable mentions, for those that I liked a lot, but weren't perfect.
First Prize: Arleena
Reasons: I simply adored this piece. The soft, pastel colors, and the shinyness
of the image realy made me stare at it for a long time since I recieved it.
The effects are really good, and so she gets the first place!!
Honorable Mention 1: Callisto
Reasons: Chosen by my boyfriend, Xaethos, with my approval, this piece is
really nice. The colors are pretty interesting, and darker than the rest,
and the effects on the border are also quite nice. The effect on the starseed
in the back is kinda strange though.
Honorable Mention 2: Elly
Reasons: While not my favorite piece, I like the way she did the background
and skin effect. It really does look like a transformation sequence out of
the show. The only but I had were the colors she chose.
