Well, this is the first story I recieved, so I haven't much to compare to, but I think it's best that way. The story is really nice, you get a basic feeling of the characters in it, and she managed to get Starseed's personality ver well. The way she used Starseed's powers were also very original, since I had never thought of creating an ultimate senshi with many starseeds, but I like it. I also appreciated the fact that they were separated at the end, so that they didn't have to sacrifice their lives.
In the middle of the story she changed Akari's name to Akira, so I had to change that with a word search/replace tool. ^_^
Story:: The Star
Author: Kasumi Yori
Standing along a ocean's shore was a girl with silver hair,
it was in a low ponytail which was split into two and those two made loops at
the side and the rest just hung down. She was looking at the horizon, where
the bright and clear blue water was coming up and down, the sun was about to
come up. The sky was already the faintest orange and red, a blood sky. She watched
as the light from the sun and the light from the glistening water bounced off
one another and made a bright flashing light, the girl stood there watching
and smiling...a smile held with relief.
The light disappeared revealing a woman, her eyes held wisdom and so much intelligence,
so much pain and happiness that had gone through the millenniums and yet her
body looked no more than nineteen years old. She had bluish grayish hair that
was held in two pigtails, they hung down to her knees. The woman spoke, her
voice so tender and musical.
" I heard you calling Ginhoshi." said the woman.
" Akari...we are in trouble." said the girl.
" I have known that for some time, but what do you need of me?" asked
Akari.
" We have failed time after time in defeating him...we need your help."
said Ginhoshi.
" I would be delighted to help you." said Akari as she smiled.
" I know you are the Senshi of the star seeds...I know this is a lot I
am asking of you, but my Senshi and I are ready to give up our star seeds to
form one." said Ginhoshi.
" You do realize that is a dangerous task...you may be destroyed."
said Akari as she frowned.
Ginhoshi looked down, " Yes I know...but we must try for the world's sakes."
" I will still help you." said Akari as she glided down to the ground
beside Ginhoshi.
" Thank you." said Ginhoshi as she looked up at the older woman for
a moment.
" RISING FIRE STRIKE!" shouted a girl, her light
pink and orange hair blowing behind her as she held up her hands and brought
them down fiercely as she cried out rising, then she brought her hands back
as she cried fire and a burning and glowing fire glowed in her two palms as
she smirked, then she pushed the fire forward as she cried out strike and the
ball of fire burst forward at the youma, crisping it.
The youma recovered quickly and it cried out in anger as it cupped it's hand
a bright light glowed and three rings appeared and trapped the girl around the
legs, waist, and shoulders. She cried out in complete agony and pain, as she
was shocked over and over.
" Morning Star!" cried out another girl as she ran over to her fellow
Senshi.
Morning Star was crying out as the rings glowed white, her bun getting loose
and the strands swishing back and forth as she shook her head. Her hands clenched
into fists in pain.
" THUNDER STROKE!" cried out the girl as her face held a deep emotion
as she twirled around and around and thunder welled up around her from the sky
as she cried out thunder, then she stopped and the thunder shot several beams
out as she cried out stroke.
The thunder beams hit the three rings and the rings came undone and Morning
Star walked away a little before falling to the ground and getting herself unconscious.
" You're going to pay!" cried out the same girl as a dark purple aura
surrounded her.
" Evening Star...don't waste your energy now." said a girl with lavender
hair, she was holding off the youma with a aqua hoops that were connected to
a chain.
" Light Star, do you think you can hold on to that for a bit longer until
they come?" asked a different girl this time, she had black hair pulled
back into a low ponytail held by a large purple bow.
" I'll try Dark Star…I'll try." Said Light Star.
" DARK WATER SUPREME!" shouted Dark Star as her hair flowed up and
her hands faced the ground as water shot up from the ground and into her hands
as she moved her hands around in a square motion and the water formed into several
shapes as they shot off towards the youma weakening it a bit.
" Come on you guys…keep up your attack until they get here!"
shouted Evening Star.
" I CAN'T!" screamed Light Star as she let go of her energy and the
chain disappeared and she fainted from the loss of so much energy, she hit the
hard brown dirt as the youma laughed as Dark Star's power also faded.
The Youma shot out two beams of light which hit Dark Star in the chest blasting
her back to a wall and making her fall unconscious.
" DARK STAR!" cried Evening Star as she realized she was the only
one left.
" STAR JUSTICE ATTACK!" shouted the voice of Sailor Starseed as millions
of star impacted on the youma destroying it.
" Evening Star." Said Silver Star coming up to her friend.
" I'm so sorry…they all just fell…one by one," said Evening
Star as she cried into Silver Star's shoulder.
" It's okay," said Silver Star.
" Let us go rest." Said Sailor Starseed as she looked at the three
unconscious Senshi.
" I agree." Said Silver Star.
" Ugh…" groaned the same girl with the black
hair that was pulled back into a ponytail, except she was not in a Senshi uniform.
Near her was the pink and orange haired girl sprawled on a bed next to the lavender
haired girl.
" Hey…Maiko…wake up." Muttered the black haired girl shaking
the lavender haired girl.
" I'm up Dai," muttered Maiko as she looked back at the black haired
girl. " What about Keiko?"
" Let her rest a little bit more…I think that Akari is here."
Said Dai as she stepped out of the room to find Gin, Akari, and Mikono.
Mikono had her head laid back against the couch, her purple hair out of the
usual bun and braids and flowing behind her in the cool breeze in the room.
" I'm glad you are awake Dai." Said Akari. " You too Maiko."
" Thanks for the help on that youma." Said Maiko.
" You're welcome." Said Akari as she simply nodded.
" Akari, I think we should wait until they recover their strength."
Said Gin.
" That is for the best." Said Akari.
" What?" asked Dai.
" Our plan." Said Gin.
" Oh…right." Said Dai.
" What is the plan again?" asked Maiko rubbing her head.
" We will give up our star seeds so that Akari may conjoin them into one
Starseed to form a ultimate Senshi with all out powers…and will hopefully
defeat him." Said Gin.
" Oh yeah…I remember." Said Maiko.
" We're all here?" asked Keiko as she came into the room.
" Yes, why don't you come in and sit down." Said Akari. " Now,
why don't you tell me about this…man."
" Well, his name is Misoki." Said Maiko.
" Yeah, and he has this plan on destroying the world of course." Said
Mikono.
" He says that the only way is to get rid of all us Senshi of course."
Said Keiko.
" What about the other Senshi?" asked Akari.
" They refused the to help us." Said Dai. " They are way too
stubborn."
" Last I heard they were destroyed by Misoki." Said Mikono.
" He sends these unbeatable youmas that can heal itself." Said Gin.
" I see." Said Akari.
" So you see our problem?" asked Dai.
" Yes, I do." Said Akari.
" So, when do we do that plan thingy?" asked Keiko.
" I don't think we should do it today." Said Gin.
" Yes, she is right. You need your energy for this…ultimate Senshi
to have full strength."
Said Akari.
" I agree…I need sleep." Said Mikono as she yawned.
" Why don't we all get some shut eye till morning." Said Maiko.
" Good thinking Maiko." Said Dai as she walked back into the room.
" Good night." Muttered Keiko as she rubbed her eyes.
" You should go too." Said Akari.
" But you'll get lonely." Said Gin.
" I'm used to it Ginhoshi." Said Akari smiling at the younger girl.
" Alright Akari…" said Gin. " And thank you."
" I'm glad to help, if the Earth was destroyed whom would I make a Senshi
for?" asked Akari.
" That's the truth." Said Gin as she walked quietly to the room.
" Alright…so how do we do this?" asked Keiko
as she stretched her arms out.
" Well…um…don't look at me. I don't know these things."
Said Dai.
" Okay…so Gin. What do we do?" asked Keiko.
" I don't know, I think Akari knows though." Said Gin.
" Yes, I do know." Said Akari, but it wasn't her, it was Sailor Starseed
of course.
" So…what do we do?" asked Mikono.
" STARSEED CREATE!" shouted Starseed as a new Starseed appeared.
" Wow…" whispered Maiko as she watched the new Starseed glow.
" All you have to do is concentrate at the Starseed, make your heart pour
into it." Said Starseed as she backed away.
" SILVER STAR POWER!" cried Gin.
" MORNING STAR POWER!" said Keiko.
" EVENING STAR POWER!" shouted Mikono.
" LIGHT STAR POWER!" said Maiko.
" DARK STAR POWER!" cried Dai.
After a bright light encircled the five girls, there stood five Senshi, they
all gathered around the brilliant glowing light of the Starseed as each of them
called out the power from within.
" STAR POWER!!" shouted all five of the Senshi as a burst of like
shot forward and five starseeds merged with the glowing one.
The five Senshi disappeared in a flash of light as their starseeds and the glowing
one lifted up to the sky and it twirled around and around and then a figure
could be seen.
The figure was a girl, she had long hair that stopped at her waist and it was
silver with purple highlights. On her forehead was a star that was multicolored,
she had no choker, but her collar was white with a tint of lavender in it. Her
bow was see-through white with a star brooch that was also multicolored. Her
body suit was silver and she had white gloves that reached to her elbows and
the band was black. Her skirt was White with a tint of pink and orange. She
had boots that reached to her knees and they were also white with a black band
at the top. Her eyes were a mix of black and blue and they held all the emotions
of Silver, Morning, Evening, Light, and Dark Star.
" Sailor Star." Whispered Starseed as she stared at the girl.
Sailor Star looked at Starseed with gratitude and kindness as she flew down
beside her.
" Thank you so much for all you have done." Said Star as she placed
her hand on Starseed's shoulder.
" Good luck Sailor Star…good luck." Said Starseed as she backed
away and flew up to the sky and merged with the horizon and then she disappeared.
" Thank you once more my friend." Said Star as she turned around to
the black sky ahead.
Her eyes narrowed and anger flashed through, black flames in her eyes. She glowed
like the night stars that were not there from the evil in the area. She lifted
her hands up in the air and a white and luminous staff appeared in her hand,
on the top was a glowing star crystal. She flew up in the air as she glowed
like to sun giving Tokyo the light. Her face held anger and disappointment.
" Misoki…you will regret ever touching the ground of this planet…you
will regret ever making threats to the Senshi of this peaceful planet."
Said Star. " You will regret ever being born…Misoki…you are
going down."
Star disappeared in a bright flash of light and onto Misoki's dark castle that
lied beyond the darkest night, the deepest forests, and the most horrifying
deaths.
" Ah…she had come my friends…" said Misoki
from the shadows of his castle.
Around him, demons and youmas laughed and snickered as they thought the star
senshi would fail again like always.
" Does she possibly think she will destroy me?" asked Misoki as he
laughed his cruel laugh and stepped out of the shadows.
Misoki had pale, pale skin, which was almost ghostly like. He had dark black
hair that was spiked up and had red tips; probably red from the thousands he
had killed before. He was a dark black cape that hid most of his body, except
his black army boots, which shined so brightly against the dim light of his
castle.
Far away a light could be seen, Sailor Star of course. She was coming nearer
and faster every second that Misoki laughed his cruel laugh that was filled
with hatred. Sailor Star reached his castle and stood above him, her eyes filled
with anger for him and her fist clenched around her staff.
" Stop laughing fool." Said Star.
" Me the fool?" asked Misoki. " You are the fool for coming…you
know you will be defeated."
" Not this time Misoki." Said Star.
" Don't be so sure of your self." Said Misoki.
Misoki motioned his hands as hundreds of youmas and demons came forth laughing
at the one warrior in front of them.
" One against a hundred?" said Misoki. " Still think you can
win?"
" Yes." Said Star as she raised her staff and a bright light glowed
from it as she cried out her attack that destroyed all. " STAR BRIGHT ILLUMINATION!"
Misoki's face held anger and fear for the first time as he watched his warriors
fall at that one attack.
" You will pay for that." Said Misoki as he backed away slowly.
" Don't you dare run away." Said Star pointing her staff at him. Her
hair blowing in the cool breeze whipping around her tan skin and her eyes glared
at the disgusting figure before her.
" Run away?" asked Misoki. " I think not pitiful senshi."
" You are the one that is pitiful." Said Star as she came closer.
" DARK CRYSTAL!" cried Misoki as a black of dark energy came toward
Star but she kept on walking, the dark energy merely giving her a scratch on
the arm.
" I won't be defeated this time Misoki." Said Star as she smirked
with glee.
" Th-that can't be possible…" muttered Misoki as his eyes filled
with fear at this senshi.
" Yes Misoki, fear me. Fear the people you have killed, and fear the power
that will destroy you." Said Star laughing.
" NO!" cried Misoki as he ran away.
" Don't run fool, either way you will be vanquished!" shouted Star
as she flew after Misoki.
Misoki stopped in his tracks, his black cape swishing about his body and his
boots making noises on the moist ground below him.
" Any last words?" asked Star.
Misoki's face was even paler now, scared of the fact that he was finally defeated.
Star brought her staff to her chest as she turned it side ways, then with her
left arm she raised it above her as she cried out Star then she brought it back
down a white ball of light in her hand and the same white ball of light going
through the staff energizing it, as she cries out Inferno. Misoki stood there
horrified, to horrified to move or run or even beg for mercy.
" It didn't have to end like this." Said Star as she pointed the end
of the staff at his chest as a tear fell down her face, her anger disappearing
and filled with sadness for what he has caused, as the light rushed forward
and hit Misoki as she cried out DISPERSE!!
Misoki cried out in pain and agony as the light engulfed him and he disappeared
into the darkness around him.
Star dropped to the ground as she shook violently and then she split back into
five girls, and left one dead starseed in front of them.
" We did it." Whispered Keiko looking up at her friends.
" Yeah…we did." Said Maiko.
" I can't believe it!" cried Mikono jumping up.
" Hold on…how do we get back?" asked Dai.
" Don't worry, before we left Akari gave me a teleport star." Said
Gin as she held it out. " Everyone touch it and think about Tokyo Park."
" I can do that." Said Keiko as she smiled.
" Me too." Said Maiko as she touched it.
" Here we come Tokyo." Said Mikono.
" Yeah." Whispered Dai.
There was a bright light once more as they landed right on a tree in Tokyo Park.
" A tree?" asked Gin.
" Oops." Said Mikono.
" What?" asked Maiko.
" I was thinking of the tree in this park where I used to climb."
Said Mikono.
" Great." Said Keiko.
" Sorry." Said Mikono.
" Yeah, yeah. I'm glad at least we landed in Tokyo." Said Dai.
" Yup." Said Gin as she looked out at the horizon above the tree.
" You think she saw us?" asked Maiko.
" I'm sure she did." Said Gin.
" How are you so sure?" asked Dai.
" Look." Said Gin as she pointed toward the horizon and if you had
enough sense you could see the bright light there and in the sky is the faint
shadow of Starseed's face.
" THANK YOU!" cried Mikono as she looked at the light.
The light seemed to understand as it disappeared quickly as the sun began to
rise.
" It's good to be home." Said Keiko as she laid back and forgot she
was in a tree and fell to the ground.
The girls laughed as they sighed in relief.
